1: How did you get the job?
please see "getting the Céline gig" from my bio at www.roddy.com
2: What was it like to be with Céline?
the whole tour was a family and worked very efficiently. It
was an honor for me to be with such High-caliber people. It
was a lot of fun and everyone was respectful and encouraging
to each other. It was very special.
3: What is your most memorable moment of the tour?
My first performance was the most memorable because I knew that
this was a dream coming true right before my very eyes - just
like I had pictured it a year earlier.
4: Was the French language barrier a problem for you?
No everyone spoke English too. Where I wanted to understand something,
someone would interpret. I learned some phrases in French and
that was fun.
5: Were the other members of the band welcoming?
Oh yes! Extremely nice people - I was treated like family.
6: What was the best bit about working with Céline?
Céline is so good. Her Discipline and passion is character that
I want to be around - I was so inspired to be and do more like
she has
7: Would you work with her again?
Yes, yes, Yes!
8: How different is it working with Céline than working with
Shania?
The big tours are similar but all the little things make each
tour unique. Those little things are so fun and special. They
are both great tours to be a part of
9: What part of To Love You More attracted you to the song?
The passion of the song as a whole brought me to a different
emotional place. The violin part is beautiful.
