The follwing years after the Eurovision Song Contest were the hardest time Celine and Rene had gone through. Now both of them knew they were in love with eachother, even the family and their closest friends. But Rene was worried if the media and their readers and listeners would get the wrong picture. That he took advantage of her, that he was too old for her, for example. Celine, on the other hand, wanted the whole world to know. After a while, she agreed to keep it as a secret.
Other things happened these years as well. She recorded her first English-speaking album in 1990, "Unison", and with a brand new album, she appeared in the media as a young, fashionate woman. The album did very well both in French- and English-speaking countries, so she recorded another one in 1992 called "Celine Dion". This album led to her biggest success so far; "The Colour Of My Love" that sold in 15 million copies worldwide. But what's so special about this album is that she finally could tell the whole world who the colour of her love was. The whole album is dedicated to him, and it's all written down in the label.
