This is what was written in a German newspaper October 25 2000:
When Celine Dion, 32, married her man Rene Angelil, 58, in January for the second time, that should show, how infinitely large their love was also after six years marriage. The singer and her protector gave themselves in golden robes the "I do"-word, like in 1001 night- as in the fairy tale. But now the journalist Ian Halperin maintains:
Everything lied. Celine, which expects her long-desired child in February, is not as lucky as it seems, the marriage of everything differently than harmonious. In his Dion-Biographie he writes, that the singer always suffered from her egoistic and authoritarian man. She should even tried to kill herself. Reason for the eternal quarrellings of the alleged pair of dreams: Jealousy. Halperin: "Celine always had much success with men, but who wanted to go out with her, had to watch out. Rene always watch over his protege. He was obsessed of jealousy."
Nevertheless Celine admired her life companion, who is also at the same time her manager. She remained him faithful, but according to the biography, she had dreamed about Michael Jackson. So she said in an interview: "We couls have had beautiful children together. I even imagine how we make love." Because of this enthusiasm there were rows again and aigain, Dion tried to kill herself with exhaust gas. Her husband rescued her.
As you probably know, this article is just the biggest crap in the world. It's so annoying that people from newspapers absolutely HAVE to find something wrong with every celebrity on earth. They don't accept that Celine and Rene have a lovelife with no problems; She loves him more than anything in the world, and he loves her the same way. So therefore they have to come up with silly things like this. I and many other fans are sooooo tired of reading untrue and hurting articles like this, so if you're one of us too, put this banner on your site (if you have one, of course) and tell everybody that you hate the way anti-fans and tabloids treat Celine and Rene's love for eachother! Celine Dion: un nouvel album pour No�l
Elle a enregistre plus de 200 chansons dans 4 langues differentes et vendu plus de 130 000 000 d'albums dans tous les coins de la planete. Et meme si Celine Dion est toujours en sabbatique et enceinte, ses disques continuent a etre diffuses et la "machine" continue toujours a tourner. La "machine", c'est Sony Musique ou on s'apprete a diffuser Celine Dion The Collector's Series Volume 1, un nouvel album de la chanteuse quebecoise le 24 octobre prochain.
Un nouvel album qui en fait n'en est pas un en ce sens que toutes les chansons sont deja connues mais n'etaient pas disponibles sur un seul et meme disque. Chez Sony Musique, on considere Celine comme quelqu'un de tout a fait special. On a donc decide de lancer une collection lui etant exclusivement consacree.
Ce florilege de 16 titres en est la premiere manifestation. Il sera disponible le 24 octobre et offrira, en plus des chansons en anglais, deux titres en francais, les mega succes Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore et Ziggy. Parmi les "raretes" , on pourra retrouver pour la premiere fois sur un album Power Of The Dream que Celine avait interprete aux Jeux Olympiques d'Atlanta en 1996 devant un auditoire estime a trois milliards de telespectateurs. Il y aura aussi deux chansons en espagnol: Sola Otra Vez, version de All By Myself et Amar Haciendo El Amor qu'on retouvait sur une version differente de l'album All The Way - A Decade Of Songs paru l'an dernier. Egalement incluse, With This Tear que Prince avait ecrit specialement pour elle pour son deuxieme album. A noter que ce nouvel album beneficiera d'une sortie internationnale, c'est-a-dire qu'il sortira tel quel dans la plupart des pays du monde incluant les Etast-Unis et la France.

Celine nominated for two awards at HitAwards2000!
Celine was nominated for two awards at HitAwards2000 which aired Saturday evening. The show aired directly from Oslo Spectrum, Norway. Celine was nominated in the categories for Best International Female Artist, and Hit Of The Year (The main price). Britney Spears won the first award and Aha won the Hit Of The Year award. Two years ago Celine won the Hit Of The Year award for My Heart Will Go On; this year she was nominated with That's The Way It Is. Well, MY opinion is that Celine is a much better singer/artist than Britney is, so "Best International Female Artist" is not the category for Britney.
It's a BOY!
It's now confirmed that Celine and Rene will have a boy! More news to come very soon!

Here's the newest pics of Celine! She looks so happy and relaxed! And her hair has grown very fast, so there are some people wondering if it's a wig. But my opinion is that it's her own hair.
In a recent interview, Celine said that she wants to take a 3 years long break instead of 2 years as said earlier.

According to the Journal de Montreal Celine is pregnant of one child. The ultrasound has shown that Celine is being pregnant with one baby right now, while 3 in-vitro fertilizde eggs were plazed back a month ago. Read the complete story (in French) at the website of Journal de Montreal

IT'S HAPPENING!!! CELINE AND RENE IS GOING TO BE PARENTS! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
It's now confirmed that Celine really IS pregnant!!! I'm so happy for her and Rene! I know they are as happy as they can be! Maybe even more!
This is what she said:
"There's no hiding happiness. We can't keep something so big, so wonderful, a secret just for us. This time it's for real... I'm pregnant.
We just found out yesterday afternoon, Rene amd I, that the dream dearest to our hearts has come true. We are completely, totally happy. And we thank God for the great joy we've been given.
Over this past year, we went through a terrible test together, but we made it through. Stronger, closer, more loving than ever. The man of my life, my whole life was seriously ill. He could have thrown in the towel, given up, and let our happiness die. But, instead of giving up, he chose to fight all his might. Because he loves life. Because he loves me. For his children, for his friends.
And today, the life he thought for and saved is now beating inside of me. Growing inside of me. This is my love. This is the proof that you must believe in hapiness, the proof that love exists so long as you believe in it.
a few days ago, Rene went through some major tests that all came back negative. The doctors who examined him found no trace of the disease. For me, this is still what counts most.
In three weeks, if all goes well, we'll hear the heart of our baby, beating in my tummy.
We know how fragile this new life is.
But, we know that, whatever happens, life has already won."
