Before she could take her long-wanted break, she had to say goodbye in a way her fans wouldn't forget easily. So she found the perfect evening, December 31st 1999. Her fans would follow her and Rene into the new Millennium. The concert was held in Montreal, Canada, and 20 000 lucky fans were there to watch her last performance for many years to come. The show began a few hours before midnight, and lasted wuntil 02:00 am on Januray 1st 2000. When the spectacular show was over, she stayed in the hall to write autographs, give hugs to crying fans and so on. How many Divas would do that?
