Info on Anubis
In feudal Japan, Anubis was young and dreamed of conquering the world. He became very greedy, not ever satisfied with what he conquered. It was at this time that Talpa came to him promising power. Anubis agreed and became a Dark Warlord.
Anubis is the most picked by his own Warlord peers. He is anxious to prove his loyalty to his master Talpa. However he begins to wish honorable battles with the Ronins. This leads to doubt about himself and his place. With the Ancient One's guidance, Anubis sees that he is only wanted for his armor. Anubis turns traitor and helps the Ronins fight to rid of Talpa from our realm.
Halfway into the series, Anubis vanishes. He reappears in a monk's robes, just like the Ancient One wore, and bearing the same staff. Trying to prove worthy of the legacy the staff stood for, he tried to master the powers of the Ancients. He reappeared to the Ronins, warning them of Talpa's tricks.
When Anubis runs into Lady Kayura, they find that they found each other's match. Finally Anubis finds out that Kayura is the last of the Ancient One's clan. She was destined to get the staff he now has. By now though, she is possessed by the leader of the Nether Spirits. Reclaiming his armor, he fights her to the end to free her of her entrapment.
The battle wears Anubis out and he falls off the bridge he was on, into a lake, and dies. His death was not in vain as he freed Lady Kayura, gave her his armor, and the Staff of the Ancients.

It is unknown what happened to Dais during feudal Japan.
Dais is very cunning, quiet, resourceful, deceiving, making him perfect for his armor. He uses illusions to confuse his enemies. This includes making his enemy's ally look like the Warlord, thus making his enemies fight each other. He can make visions of an army appear, and make himself giant sized. His weapon releases strands of spider thread to entrap, tangle, and eventually kill his enemies.
Dais loves to fight with Kento, trying to make the Ronin become evil through his hatred. He reveals to the Ronin that their armors are from Talpa and their armor is evil. The armors will eventually overpower them and take over. (This is seen in OAV 2)
Dais is the second Warlord to question following Talpa. Although he does not openly defy his master, when the truth is revealed, Dais is anxious to make Talpa pay.

Status: Dark Warlord of Corruption and Decay, Demon of Darkness
Armor Name: Corruption/Darkness

Weapon: Sword of Darkness, his nodachi (a long sword, made originally for soldiers on horseback)
Spirit of the Armor: Obedience (Ko)

Info on Cale
It is unknown what happened to Cale during feudal Japan. It is rumored that he was a ninja.
Cale is cold and calculating. He hides in the shadows, showing shadowy duplicates of himself to throw off enemies. His powers can freeze trees, animal life, and flowing water solid. The Warlord can also bring back to life any animal he freezes and have them under his total control. He can also blanket any indoor area into complete and utter darkness.
Cale loves to hunt his prey down, his favorite being Sage. He loves fighting with the warrior, teasing him, testing his strength, making Sage fear him. He uses his strength to literally claw into his enemies, pounded them backwards to the nearest wall or cliff. Cale also is the best at teleportation. Appearing at one spot, slicing or clawing away, disappearing, and then reappearing at another spot and attacking again. This makes him a very difficult enemy to face indoors alone, or even outdoors when he blankets the area in winter's icy grip.
Cale is the last of the Dark Warlords to leave Talpa. This may be due to his virtue. Once he learns that he is only used for his armor, Cale breaks free of his entrapment and stands with the Ronins against Talpa.

Info on Sekhmet
It is unknown what happened to Sekhmet during feudal Japan.
Sekhmet is often seen by viewers as insane. I feel he is just a Warlord who loves his work. He loves using his poison to make people and animals suffer and to play with his prey. His poison can become so potent that it can dissolve whole buildings away. If the poison enters an enemy's eyes, they are automatically blinded, and water will not wash the poison out. Also it seems that previous poison wounds can still work when he is away at eating away an armor. Finally the poison can paralyze his victim. His poison has only been cured by the power of the Ronin Warrior Sage.
Sekhmet often fights against Cye but he has a particular hatred toward Ryo, whom he fights in the beginning of the series. This is possibly because of his hatred toward their leader, Anubis. So he may have a grudge toward all leaders.
Sekhmet, like Cale, cannot believe that Talpa is just using them for their armors. He is too anxious to want to share in the power their Master will have when they conquer the world.
