Other Characters
Lady Kayura
Name: Kayura
Hair: Dark blue
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5' 2"
Weight: 97 lbs.
Birthday: December 12, 1559 (Sagittarius)
Status: servant of Talpa, last descendant of the Ancient's Clan
Armor Name: no armor until she later gets Anubis' armor
Weapon: two Jitte that extend to long thin swords, later the Ancient's Staff
Attack Cry: Star Sword Scream!
Info on Kayura
Kayura was kidnapped from one group of the Ancient's clan during feudal Japan. She was brainwashed by the leader of the Nether Spirits, Badamon, and wore a necklace that kept her loyal.
Kayura is only 11/12 years old. Thus her skills in dodging and attacking are very quick and agile. She is more potent that the Ronins and the Warlords. This is due to the fact that she is a descendant to the Ancients, the last descendant in fact. They protected the armors, so it would follow that they are very powerful.
Lady Kayura appears halfway through the series. She is eager to fight any Ronin in her sight, having her fun in bashing them as much as possible. She is also eager in getting any excuse to do the same to the Dark Warlords. This is possibly since those four take main stage until halfway through the series.
When White Blaze first confronts her, he swipes at her medallion, which hurts her. He was the first to know that the item was controlling her will and keeping her from remembering her past. Later on Ryo shatters it in two with an attack from the White Armor. Still Talpa used Badamon once again to place her under complete control. Badamon possessed her body, despite Kayura's plead to not do this. With increased vigor, she attacked the Ronins, capturing them. Finally Kayura faced Anubis in one last battle. The result freed her and she gained both Anubis' armor and the Shakujo Staff of Ancients.
Grieving for what she was, Kayura stood against Talpa alone to prevent his conquest. She was soon joined by the Warlords and then the Ronin Warriors. At the end of the series she returned to the Nether World with the Warlords.

The other role Mia plays is caretaker. She moves into her large house by a large lake. There she lets the Ronins stay and she buys food and supplies for them.

From the start, he admires Ryo. This admiration grows in time. He even rides White Blaze, trying to imitate the leader of the Ronins.
Yuli is very brave, fighting whatever evil comes his way. He is out to show that he is as brave as the Ronin Warriors. Also while he is fighting, Yuli may mention that he is being so brave so he can rescue his parents. He gets daring enough to even throw a staff at the Dark Warlord Cale, getting hurt in the process, in order to save Sage. Nearing the end of the series, Yuli gets a ruby jewel called the Jewel of Life. Mia puts it around him in order to protect the boy. Thus Yuli and the jewel play an important role at the end of the series. His bravery is finally rewarded when he is able to actually help the Ronins fight Talpa, by use of the jewel.

Talpa
Name: Talpa
Hair: White
Eyes: Red, when angry
Height: varies from his ghostly head to a huge giant
Weight: anyone's guess
Birthday: over 1000 years ago
Status: Emperor/Lord/Master of the Nether Realm/Evil Dynasty
Weapon: seven swords, six of which always sit on his back
Info on Talpa
Talpa was a human once, over 1000 years ago. He became an evil mage of the black arts. Soon he was consumed with the idea of conquest. Even in death, his essence was so evil that it spread to conquer the world his soul had gone to. Gaining a magic armor, he went on using his power to conquer our world 1000 years ago. He was defeated by a Demon Hunter who sent him back to the 'Demon World' known as the Nether Realm without his armor. The armor was then split into 9 pieces and given virtues.
This would not keep Talpa away. Sitting in that realm, he built up his power to open a gate into our world. As he did so, he 'called out' to his pieces of armor. He lured four of them back, and the men who wore them became his Dark Warlords.
In near present time, Talpa entered our world again to conquer it. Although he managed to create havoc and destruction, he was defeated by Ryo in his Inferno armor. But Talpa was as stubborn as ever. He knew if he could get his hands on all the armors, he could merge both the Nether Realm and our world. All he would have to wait for is an eclipse that occurs on both worlds at the same time.
Keeping his evil vow, he managed to trap all the armors and merge the worlds. Now Talpa was once again fully in our world, as he was 1000 years ago. He would have to face the Ronins again to fight for his domination.
Talpa feeds off the evil energy of people. He thrives on evil thoughts, emotions, hopelessness, despair. So it is unknown if Talpa can totally be destroyed.

The Ancient
Name: The Ancient One, or just The Ancient
Hair: White
Eyes: Blue when glowing
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: unknown
Birthday: unknown, born over 1000 years ago
Status: Guide to the Ronins and to Warlord Anubis, Talpa's oldest enemy, creator of the nine armors and their virtues
Weapon: The Staff of the Ancients
Info on The Ancient
The Ancient is a guide and guardian of the Ronin Warriors. He appears to them only when they need help majorly. Most of the time he only looks on, never revealing his true self. When one of the Warlords starts having second thoughts, the Ancient One saves him from Talpa's hands. He guides Anubis and tells him the truth, then leaves to let Anubis decide his new path. However Talpa still manages to recapture Anubis in an attack, and the Ancient realizes what he must do. He must make a 'bridge' for the Ronins to cross into Talpa's castle. He warns though that the castle has dark energy and mentions briefly about a dark side.
The monk faces Talpa alone to challenge him. He even gives Talpa a prophesy. "Talpa, I warn you! Do not discount the power of the Ronin armor. Even if you destroy me, they will surely destroy you!" In the battle, the Ancient loses his life, but is able to banish Talpa from the fight arena and creates the 'bridge.' White Blaze, the once tiger companion of the Ancient, mournfully cries out as he sadly looks at what has happened.
From then on, the Ancient can only appear to the Ronins in dreams and visions. Eventually he disappears entirely as Anubis takes up the Ancient's role.
