In the year AC 195, a war between the Earth's Sphere Alliance is emerging. Five doctors send five young trained 15-year-old boys, known as Gundam Pilots to Earth. Each of them are entrusted with a Mobile Suit called a Gundam. Gundams are made out of a powerful medal called Gundamium Alloy. Due to this medal, Gundams have become powerful weapons used for wars. In this year, five gundams were sent to Earth to destroy OZ bases that are taking over the colonies in space. While the five of them were speeding onto earth, one pilot was caught off course and so it crashed into the sea. The pilot of that Gundam was washed onto shore, and found by a 15-year-old girl, named Relena Darlin. When Relena woke the pilot up, the pilot was shocked that someone had found him. Knowing that no one should know that he was a Gundam Pilot. The boy quickly ran to the coming ambulance, got into the car and fled.

The other gundams made it safely onto earth, destroying each and every OZ base successfully. Slowly, each of them met one another one by one. Also other characters were being involved in the war. But there was a sudden change in each of the pilots mission. Relena Darlin found out that she was a Peacecraft (the Peacecraft were the rulers of the Sanc Kingdom), and her kingdom was being destroyed slowly by the Romerfeller Foundation (Romerfeller is another organization other than OZ). So to save her kingdom, she agreed to join Romerfeller, becoming the queen of the world. Now since the peace making girl has joined up with the enemy, Heero Yuy, the Pilot that was washed ashore, must decided to either kill The Queen of the World, or risk leaving her alone and let Romerfeller use Relena as their Puppet to rule over the world.

After peace was accomplished (in the series), there was another war started just after AC 195 (in the movie). When peace was actually being accomplish, another enemy has arisen. Back in the year AC 189, a child was born to be the future ruler of the world. Her name was Mariemeia Barton. Niece of Trowa Barton. Trowa Barton, is one of the Gundam Pilots, but Trowa isn't his real name. Now in AC 196, her Grandfather had raised her to become ready for the day she would rule. To do so, Mariemeia kidnapped Relena Peacecraft, and has a new type of Mobile Suit. Now it's time for the Gundam Pilots to get back in their Gundams and save the world once more. So this is where the movie, Endless Waltz, begins.
