Cardcaptors is the epic tale of Sakura, an ordinary young girl who becomes a hero as she fights to save the world from destructive magical forces.

Unless Sakura can gather all of these cards, there will be a catastrophe in this world. But Sakura has the help of the guardian of the cards Kerberos (Kero-chan) and her best friend Madison.

In ancient times, a powerful socerer named Clow Reed harnessed the magic entities of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Coulds, Wind, Rain, and Electricity. When they became unwieldly and dangerous, he contained their powers within Clow Cards and sealed them inside the mystical Clow Book to protect the world.

The Clow Book remained hidden for thousands of years until it was discovered by Sakura's father, archaeologist Aden Avalon. Becuae he did not pocess the magic needed to open the book, it collected dust on his basement shelf until it was accidentally opened by Sakura, releasing the ancient magical forces into our present world.

Now it is Sakura's destiny to collect the CLow Cards, harness their power and prevent them from causing their power and prevent them from causing trouble in the world oce again.
