The Slacker hath awoken!
Wow, it's already Monday! I did an all nighter in UO (I bought Dylan a small tower there and was decorating it...and then talked to Kal for hours) and then I slept all day long. Naturally I 'm paying for it now by having to do a ton of crap around the house. No one is here either. *grin* They went to a dinner thingy for whatever holiday this is. I really don't care for holidays all that much. I'd rather um...sleep and do house stuff and then get in more game time. Same thing goes for weekends. I'm such a geek. Life is short though. I'd rather spend it doing what *I* want to do, not what others think I have to do. I'm sure I'm in deep trouble for not showing up tonight, but I really don't want to be around those people. The conversation is never mentally stimulating and they gripe about stuff too much. So, I'm better off right here where I am, and much happier as well.
Dylan starts school tomorrow, he's actually still excited about it too. Poor kid, I feel sorry for him. School pretty much sucks. Dealing with the other kids sucks too. Not that he is bullied or anything, it's just that they are pretty much boring as hell. I mean, he likes computer stuff, art, reading, and roleplaying games. He likes hockey too...a lot. Other kids seem to only like that Pokeman crap and are always worried if other kids think they are cool or not. Some kid from his class called the other day and was bragging about clothes and what he was going to wear. He said how what you wear the first day lets the other kids know if you are cool or not. WHO CARES? It's THIRD grade! Gah.! WTF are these parents teaching their kids? Is mine the only one that hasn't been brought up by a television?!?!
Sheesh.
Oh well. I'm going to finish cleaning house and then take a very long shower.
