A friend of mine is going to Amsterdam on Friday. I wish I could travel somewhere now. The only place outside of the US that I've been to is Cancun. That was over three years ago. My trip was free because we won it through a contest where the person I married works. We stayed at the Marriott there and everything was paid for. I was able to go snorkeling in an underground river, horseback riding in the jungle and on the beach, and I think I was drunk most of the time. It was a fun trip...but not as fun as Amsterdam would be...
I am not much of a potato chip sort of person, they are salty and greasy things that are about as appealing as drinking a gallon of cooking oil. However, Terra Chips have definitely gotten my attention. They are made from the roots of all sorts of neat things and aren't so bad for ya! I like them and so does my son. I think they're definitely good for when you're in the mood for something different and unusual.
Everyone here annoyed me this weekend. Everyone here hates mushrooms. Oops...the mushrooms I had in the fridge fell into the food processor by accident! Oh well, can't let them go to waste!
*tosses a huge portion of minced mushrooms into the pasta sauce*

Yep, I'm making pasta again! I make it at least once a week, and it's still a favorite around here. The bow tie pasta is awesome. It's such a nice change from spaghetti noodles. They will really taste good with shroom sauce! mwahahahaha!!
I was a good girl and installed my Baldur's Gate game today. I have started that game several times, but have yet to get through it. The last time I had gotten through a couple places in the game, but then my hd died on me and I lost everything. Oh well. I'll start again after I read a few books and play Planescape Torment. I need to get through these damn games before Neverwinter Nights comes out!
Know what? I really don't like this daylight savings crap. It sucked more when I was in school and had to get up early for that. I know I don't feel the effects of it so much now, but it *still* sucks!
