Chesney's career took off in 1991 at the age of 18 when he starred in the film Buddy's Song alongside Roger Daltrey & Michael Elphick. The singer went on to release the soundtrack of the film, including the song 'The One and Only' which was a huge hit and stayed at number one for weeks, making it the 20th most successful release of the 1990s.
