A frequent guest-star on Nickelodeon's "Angry Beavers" cartoon,
Oxnard Montalvo is the consummate B-movie actor. He's got the rugged
good looks -- a strong jaw, a cleft chin, dramatically arched eyebrows, and
well-coiffed blue-black hair. He's remarkably strong, with an iron
constitution and the brains to match. He's as dense as lead. As
thick as a brick. The typical "grade-A maroon", as Bugs Bunny would say.
In short, he's the ideal man.
Oxnard is voiced by Tom Kane, and is often accompanied by
sidekicks Toluca Lake (Adrienne Barbeau) and Dr. Cowtiki (William
Schallert). The screenshot above is taken from "The Day the

Got Really Screwed Up", in which Dagget (Richard Horvitz) and
Norbert (Nick Bakay) go trick-or-treating the day before Halloween
and inadvertently assist an alien invasion by
feeding an intergalactic monster with their imaginations. Other
voices include Peter Graves as General Warning,
Jonathan Haze as Mann Servante, and John Byner as a bunch of little
things.
