Durham Hooley Layne Honour Wade

durhamO.JPG (13674 bytes)

CH Ceilidh Vivien Leigh "DURHAM"

Orange roan bitch, typical merry cocker with ever wagging tail and appreciated by cocker specialists. Our first born in our first litter was also our first Australian Champion and homegrown to boot!! Durham took time out for maternal duties and despite being an orange roan with a novice handler, still attained her title at just 2 1/2 years of age.

She has had two litters. From her first litter, Ceilidh Southern Star (Nik) is owned and shown by Reg & Thelma Ayton in Melbourne and her litter sister Ceilidh Southern Lady (Layne) is still at home and is expecting her first litter later this year.

From her second litter, Ceilidh  The Saloon Girl (Amelia) is owned and shown by Shirley Felmingham in Victoria and gained Baby Puppy in group at her second outing. Ceilidh The Undertaker (Wade), Ceilidh The Preacher (Stan) and Ceilidh The Padre (Ruben) are at home and doing well with limited showing they have so far had. All of these puppies are typical merry cockers and showing promise of a good future.

Durham has acquitted herself well in the show ring with several class in group wins and specialty class in show wins. She has produced beautiful typical merry cockers (with help from the sires of course!).

CH Ceilidh Yule Brynner "HOOLEY"

Blue roan dog, a sound honest merry cocker.

Hooley is a typical little boy who, I am sure, if he had pockets would have them full of string, marbles , frogs and all sorts. When Hooley was just 8 months of age he thought he could fly and fractured his shoulder which kept him out of the ring for several months but he still gained his australian championship title before he turned three.

He has had several class in group awards and a Runner Up In Group and is still only quite young with many more wins ahead.

AVAILABLE AT STUD TO APPROVED BITCHES

Ceilidh Southern Lady "LAYNE"

Blue roan bitch with an over the top merry temperament.

Layne has always been a handful and hard work to show. She almost wags herself off the table when the judges approach her, which shows a great temperament but makes it hard to keep her still long enough for the judges to go over her.

She has had many class in groups as well as a Best In group to her name.

Layne will be bred to Ch Ceilidh Yule Brynner "Hooley" late in 2001 and enquiries are very welcome.

Ceilidh Final Honour "HONOUR"

Honour is a lovely typical merry cocker who had a rough start to life with two shows at three months and then had a setback that kept her out of the ring for several months. We thought she would then be sold as a pet but decided to keep her around and see if she bounced back.  Well, Honour proved to have great mettle and re-started her show career at around 16 months of age. She is now 21 months and proving that our judgement was correct. It has taken some time for Honour to realise that the show ring is supposed to be approached with some degree of decorum but she is now getting her act together, keeping four feet on the ground, head off the ground and pleasing the judges.   In her very short show career Honour has a couple of challenges, RUBOB's and a Junior in Group to be proud of. We look forward to being in the winners circle many more times with Honour.

Ceilidh The Undertaker "WADE"

Wade is a lovely compact, cobby, merry cocker and is the typical 'a lot of dog in a small package'. He has great drive, covering ground with ease. We look forward to a promising future for Wade as he matures. He will be available at stud to approved bitches after his first birthday.

  • Wades' sister, Ceilidh The Saloon Girl, "Amelia" is owned by Shirley Flemingham in Victoria and is well on her way to her title at the age of 10months. She has multiple classes in group awards to her name. We are proud of Amelia And Shirley.
  • Wades' brother, Ceilidh The Preacher, "Peri" is owned by Dr Gillian Robinson in Victoria. He is yet to restart his show career since going to his new home but from all reports has settled in well and is thoroughly loved by the humans and fellow cockers there. We wish Gillian and Peri well for the future.
