. Alaric leads you down the Great Hall to a black door near the end. Through this door, you find yourself on a narrow stone ledge, and Alaric warns you not to go too near the edge. A stair spirals up along the wall, disappearing into the gloom far above.

Below the ledge, the empty well of the tower continues down into impenetrable blackness. Yet you are not sure if you see something far below--a hint of mist, perhaps.

"This tower stood here before the Keep was built," Alaric says. "And no one knows for certain what is at the bottom of it, or if it HAS a bottom. But even my young son Errin, scamp that he is, would never dare to throw anything down there to find out."

Seeing that you are somewhat shaken, Alaric asks if you would like to:
