Alaric takes you to a guest chamber and leaves you there to rest.
You go to the narrow window and peer out. Far below you see the courtyard you were in earlier. Among the rooftops, you see gardens, which lend a more gentle aspect to this place of stone. You lay down on the bed, and think of all you have seen today. Some time later, waking you from your doze, a boy of about 10, with flaming red hair and mischievous green eyes, comes to the door. He introduces himself as Alaric's son, Errin, and explains that the Lady Andrea would like to see you now. |
