| Wednesday March 20th 2002 Cleaned up the site a bit. Did some new pics of myself 'cause the old ones just plain suck; added my e-mail address so people can annoy me (kidding); pointed out the 'happily seperated' part in my stats at the top. Good 'nuff for now, I guess. I was hoping I'd get online same time as a promising young lady I've been talking to over at Quest, but I guess I struck out again. We keep missing each other; either we're on at different nights, or she's on so late that I'm already asleep. I really want to get to know her better, so it's a tad bit frustrating. I'm on the verge of suggesting we should meet for real somewhere, not to rush things but just for lack of any better solution. Still seems a bit risque, though. Also spent some time trying to fix my ad; I've tried twice to update the text and it hasn't gone through either time, maybe they're having trouble over there. It's pretty bad when you decide you sound like an idiot, try to do something about it, and - no luck. A night of frustration all around, I guess. I've determined I'm never going to find myself an apartment unless I take a day off work to do it, so it'll have to wait now until the first week of April after I'm back from visiting my parents over the Easter holiday. Rental offices, along with half a million other businesses I could name, don't seem to think anyone else in the world works regular business hours and possibly can't make it. Argh! Okay, I gotta change my mood. I can't seem to think of anything that ISN'T frustrating right now. Okay - think think think. Really looking forward to the Oscars Sunday night, gonna cheer on LOTR. The rumours about Episode 2 are getting better and better. Thought of the bright idea to call the apartment building I used to live at two years ago and liked so much, hopefully they have something open. Making progress with the financial statement for my separation. New episode of Star Trek Enterprise this week, not a bad one either. Not so much snow in the driveway that I actually have to bother shovelling it. Just a week and a half before fiscal year's done at work - woohoo! ... Hey - this 'think positive' stuff really works! |
