***INTRODUCTION***

In this article, in particular you will have the opportunity of knowing about the Domincan Republic.
Our country is a small Island located to the south of the United State, and to the south of Cuba.
In Dominican Republic, our hobby is the Merengue, the Merengue is the
most pupular rythm in my country, and despite that there is another interesting and popular rythm that is called Bachata, the merengue is the most exciting rhythm.
Traditionally the instruments to play merengue are called Guira, Tambora or drum, Marimba and "Acordeon" but actually most of this traditional instruments have been replaced for modern instruments like for example instead of Marimba is used the Bass and instead of acordeon we use saxofhones and trumpets, but we still have the traditional instruments that compound the former merengue, and still in the rural zone the traditional merengue is very popular.

??? FLEXIBILITY ???

Well to be flexible is one the most important thing to dance a good Merengue, and maybe you wonder, but flexible from what part of the body? is very simple, but before let me ilustrate you about the flexive parts of your body. If you check your movements when you walk, you will see that every time you give one step your hip will move to one side and then when you give the other step your hip will go to the other side, but look at your knees and you will notice that each one of them it will bend just a little bit as you walk, the speed of your hip is going to depend of the speed of your movements, but all these form a combination betwen your hip, knees and heels.
