Welcome To CEQ The College of Engineering in Al-Qasseem (CEQ) is an institution of higher education and scientific and technical research. It contributes to the educational attainment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a nation occupying a privileged geostrategic position, belonging to Islamic Civilization, and open to America, Europe and Asia.

           The Mission of the College of Engineering, newly established,  is to attract, nurture, and educate a diverse student body to be world-class scientists and engineers, capable of leading and managing change and dealing with the challenges of the global marketplace in a multicultural society. Moreover, its vision statement is to provide a comprehensive framework for promoting and nurturing science and engineering programs that meet the broad vision of Saudi Arabian Universities. We will work to engage all of our students in the pursuit of knowledge through teamwork, instruction, and research. The Guiding Principle for the College of Engineering will be that the success of our students will always be the major measure of our success. 
            A major goal of the departments within the College of Engineering is to continuously upgrade and modernize curricula in order to assure the quality of undergraduate programs and, in the other side. The education objectives consistent with this philosophy, among others, can be summarized as follows: 

• Students will gain the strong fundamental scientific and technical knowledge base and the critical-thinking skills necessary for work after graduation and that will serve as the foundation for lifelong learning. 

• Students will gain the ability to apply engineering skills to engineering-analysis and design projects and to creatively solve engineering problems. 

• Students will gain the ability to effectively communicate technical and professional information in written, oral, visual, and graphical forms and to work in teams. 

• Students will gain an awareness and understanding of their moral, ethical, and professional obligations to protect human health, human welfare, and the environment and an awareness of the role of the engineering professional in a multicultural, global economy. 

         These are realized with the help of  a courageous and  professional staff. Indeed, the majority of the College’s staff personnel are either clerical: secretaries, administrative assistants or technical professionals: research scientists, systems administrators.  The College encourages the professional growth of staff by encouraging them to attend professional seminars and workshops.
         The doctors of the College of Engineering are got their doctorate degrees from famous international universities. They  possess a high methodology of teaching. They use a classical way like whiteboard and modern one like transparencies and data show  from computer; both leading to the same target of forming a modern generation of engineers. They organize three mid-term exams in addition to a set of quizzes in order to control the students continuously. The syllabus is based on modern academic programs taught in good-reputed universities. 
         The College of Engineering, Al Qasseem, has started by the following Departments: Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. We are thinking to enlarge, in the near future, the College by including more Departments as required.
