Sunday Massacre Results (10/28/01)

[ Next Event ] - [ Previous Event ]

Johnny Isles & Rob Sternberg
BBA Announcer Johnny Isles welcomes everyone back to the Dixon House of Pain, and it's a Sunday, and there WILL be a Massacre. "Excuse me, excuse me...." Rob Sternberg hits the ring, wearing a rubber glove. He shakes Johnny Isles's hand to reveal that he is making sure that he is rid of the "American problem" in anthrax. Sternberg bashes the Dixon House of Pain and Rockville Centre before they make their way to the booth.

The Evil Superpowers
The Arch Angel and Mike Savage hit the ring together, and place their cheap "Evil Superpower" crowns upon their skulls. Arch Angel wants to explain himself. He is letting everyone know that he is taking over the show. He brags about beating Calypso last week, and says he feels good this event. He wants to kick someone's ass, and he wants to defend the World Title tonight against The Franchise. Mike Savage says, "It's done." Arch Angel seems a little surprised that he spoke for him, but continues his bragging ways...reminding us all that they destroyed M80 last week. M80 hits the ring, and Arch Angel tells him he should still be in a hospital. M80 calls them morons, and he want a World Heavyweight Title after what they put him through. Arch Angel reminds him that Savage just confirmed a match already between Hanley & Arch Angel, so no M80 title shot. Arch Angel has something for him, as his manager is ready and willing to fight. Arch Angel sets the stage for M80 vs. Mike Savage, and M80 accepts the challenge.

Match Number: 1
Wrestlers: M80 vs. Mike Savage
Match Details: 1-on-1, Hardcore
M80 hits the ring first, followed by the BBA Commissioner Mike Savage. Arch Angel accompanies him to the ring, as Savage pushes a shopping cart full of weapons. Apparently, because Savage is the Commissioner, he is making this match a Hardcore match. Savage starts things off by throwing a bat at M80, and M80 does the same with a different bat. Savage throws M80 to the mat, and it looks like Doomsday has something in their pockets. What is it? Savage throws some kind of illegal powder in the eyes/face of M80 while Arch Angel does the same to the referee! Sternberg thinks it's anthrax, as Arch Angel suplexes M80 through the announcer's table! M80 is blinded, and he is coughing up a lung. Doomsday connects with a HUGE DDT in which M80 appears to have landed on his neck!! The ref stumbles to his feet as Savage stands on M80 for the pinfall victory! What bullshit is this, Doomsday knew Savage didn't wrestle often enough to beat someone of the stature of M80...so they cheated to get him the victory. Mike Savage has an announcement: at the PPV "Backyard Assault", M80 will face the newest BBA talent. Doomsday attack M80 some more after the match before leaving.
Winner:Mike Savage via Pinfall

Time to Shoot
"The Franchise" John Hanley hits the ring first, followed by "Total F'n Package" Viper, and finally "The Old School Icon" Real Deal Rob. All three BBA members stand in the ring silent for a couple of moments, it appears like this wasn't part of the script. Franchise wonders why RDR has brought himself and Viper to the ring. RDR says he's got nothing against either of them, but he does have something to say to a certain someone in the back. He talks about how the three of them wrestled together, against eachother, walked that aisle for the last three years (referring to their history in the OWF). He says the last three months has seen the BBA go down the drain. He says the BBA needed him 3 months ago, and that they still need him today. Pointing to the camera, RDR apparently is directly talking to that certain person that he alluded to before. He says that there is bad things happening in this company in the back, and says that he is getting blamed for it. RDR asks the certain someone if there is something so bad about himself, then what is so good about that someone. He says the three of them have been flagship of the company, claiming they have been having the best matches & producing the best angles. He says that everything good has to end. Last Thursday night he recieved an e-mail from Craig Dixon, saying that the three of them must disband and to not work together anymore. RDR says if this happens, then the company will "continue" to go down further. He goes on to say that the BBA World Heavweight Championship should be called the BBA Championship because it means nothing. There is one title that means something however, and that is this...the OWF World Heavyweight Title. He takes the strap out of a bag and says that the three of them fought, bleed, and payed the price to wear this belt. He says it was real, and he deems the OWF World Heavyweight Title the Real World Heavyweight Title. The BBA Chairman Craig Dixon doesn't appear, but the BBA Administrator Calypso does. This apparently is a very heated situation, as RDR and Calypso are face to face as RDR tells him he hates his fucking guts. Wait a minute! Viper knocks down RDR from behind! Viper apparently doesn't exactly agree with the shoot promo that RDR cut, and he doesn't want to be spoken for. As Viper kicks away on RDR, Calypso attacks Franchise! Viper is putting his OWF history right where it should be, in the past. Calypso and Viper continue to beat on Franchise and RDR, and raise eachother's arms in celebration.

Match Number: 2
Wrestlers: The Impostor vs. Firestarter
Title: World Television Championship
Current Champ: Firestarter
Match Details: 1-on-1
So after weeks of anticipation, The Impostor will take on Firestarter for the World TV Title. Firestarter has Impostor to thank for the having the priveledge to still hold that title after facing M80 last week. Will Impostor have easy pickings against Firestarter, who struggled for his first victory in BBA last week? Impostor hits the ring first, followed by the defending champ...Firestarter. Impostor attacks him during his ring entrance, and this thing is underway. Irish whip by Impostor into a clothesline knocking down Firestarter. Impostor follows up with a bulldog for a two count. Firestarter goes back and connects with Up In Flames (Pedigree)...but THE IMPOSTOR STANDS UP! He felt no effect of Firestarter's finisher! The Impostor nails him with The Chokeslam! He apparently doesn't think he has done enough to him, as he hits a second Chokeslam for the three count! The Impostor has won the World Television Championship!! Aside from the 24/7 days of the Hardcore Title, no BBA Championship has ever been captured in a match that quickly and that impressivly! Firestarter continues with his difficult start in the BBA.
Post-Match Champ: Impostor
Winner: The Impostor via Pinfall

Match Number: 3
Wrestlers: Calypso vs. The Impostor
Match Details: 1-on-1
Calypso hits the ring, and he has something to say. Calypso talks about his championship history in the BBA. He has held every single title in the BBA...except for one. He reminds us that he is a former Hardcore & Tag-Team Champ. He was also the longest reigning Intercontinental Champ. And of course, he was a 4 time BBA World Champion. What title is missing? The World Television Championship. He wants to complete his collection, and he wants a future title match against the newly crowned Impostor. He knows Impostor wont be willing to put it on the line today, but he does want to challenge him in a non-title matchup right now. Impostor hits the ring fresh off his impressive victory. This match begins with a lockup, and Calypso wrenches the arm of Impostor. Impostor rolls through, kips up, and now is wrenching the arm of Calypso. Impostor takes out the leg of Calypso, and now locks in a single leg crab! Calypso gets the rope, but is irish whipped into a big boot for a two count. Impostor chokes Calypso, and the ref breaks it up. Impostor irish whips Calypso, misses a clothesline, and is met by a diving clothesline by Calypso. Calypso kips up, and wrenches the arm of Impostor some more. Impostor reverses it into an arm wringer, and irish whips Calypso as they hit a double dropkick. Impostor pulls Calypso to his feet, and tries for a diving axe handle off the turnbuckle, but Calypso forearms him in the stomach on his way down. Calypso locks in the Dragon Sleeper, and Impostor grabs the ropes almost immediately. Calypso goes right back at him though, as he is trying to lock in the Walls of Calypso! Impostor puts up a battle and does not let him lock it in as he rolls up Calypso for a two count. Impostor hits a leaping clothesline for another two count. Impostor continues the offense with a DDT for a two count. Impostor locks in a neck submission, but Calypso elbows out of it. Impostor reverses an irish whip, and is met by a clothesline that doesn't send the champ down! Calypso sees this and nails a dropkick sending Impostor out of the ring. Calypso tosses Impostor back in the ring, and hits a sunset flip for a two count. Impostor comes back as he irish whips Calypso into a flying shoulder block. Impostor follows up with Rolling Thunder! Calypso kicks out after two. Calypso nails Impostor with a huge bulldog from off the turnbuckle. Calypso has the advantage, and now he nails Impostor with the Impaler! Calypso gets the three count, as it is now inevitable that Calypso will get a World Television Champ as he has just pinned the champ. Calypso grabs the World TV strap, holds it over The Impostor's laid out body...and lays it on his mask, as he has defeated The Impostor for the second week in a row.
Winner: Calypso via Pinfall

Match Number: 4
Wrestlers: Real Deal Rob vs. Viper
Title: Intercontinental Championship
Current Champ: vacant
Match Details: 1-on-1
Real Deal Rob and Viper will go at it now, as they already have come to blows earlier in the event. The Intercontinetal Championship will be defended for the second time in a row with no defending champion, as the title is vacant due to Biohazard leaving the company. Real Deal Rob enters the ring with his "Real" World Title and a limp. RDR says that Viper ruined something that could never be created again. He says this isn't about titles, its about a broken relationship. He will now break Viper, and that's the deal...and it's for real. Viper hits the ring next. He is carrying out Calypso's signature steel pipe, signifying his allegance to BBA and not to RDR's OWF. Viper takes out RDR's knee, as he noticed Rob's limp. Viper and Real Deal go back and forth with punches. RDR gives Viper a knife edge chop, and an arm wrench as he clubs away on Viper. RDR throws Viper's arm onto the turnbuckle chair. RDR with some more chops, but Viper now wrenches the arm of RDR. Viper off the ropes, RDR ducks, and RDR locks in a sleeper hold. Viper fades quickly, but his hand only drops twice and makes his way to his feet. Viper's arm wrench sends RDR head over heels, but RDR kips up. Now RDR does the same sequence to Viper. Double clothesline. Double kipup. RDR and Viper have a standoff. They have quite a history in the OWF. Fireman's carry by RDR and he begins to work on Viper arm, and he hits a DDT to the arm. RDR continues the pressure by locking in an STF, lets go of the hold to pin him with a bridge for a two count. They go back and forth with punches again. They make their way out and back into the ring. Viper works on the knee again, and locks in the Figure 4 Leglock! Viper releases the hold, only to lock in the ankle lock! Viper releases again. RDR tries to kick him, but Viper punches the knee. Viper connects a vertical suplex as RDR's knee nails the chair turnbuckle! RDR manages to kick out after two, but how much more can his knee hold up? Viper throws his knee of the chair some more, and pulls his kneepad down to kick and punch away on RDR. Viper now throws RDR face first into the chair, and now locks in the Maple Leaf! Viper is showing up RDR, stealing his finishing submission move! RDR smacks Viper's head to get out of it. RDR ties up Viper in the ring rope, as he kicks away on the Total Package. RDR tries to get a chair, but the ref doesn't allow him to use it. RDR argues with the ref, but now Viper hits the knee of RDR with the chair! The ref allows it, but warns Viper not to do it again. Viper sends RDR head over heels off the turnbuckle for a two count. RDR comes back with a clothesline, but his knee isn't holding up well. Viper kicks out after two. RDR hits a knee smash to Viper, but it seems to have done more damage to RDR than Viper. Russian leg sweep by RDR for a two count. Viper has RDR in a wheelbarrow, but RDR climbs the chair, stands up, and connects with the Last Resort (his finisher in the OWF...AKA the acid drop). He doesn't pin him, but he does signal for the end. RDR locks in the Canadian Maple Leaf! Wait a second, here comes Calypso! Calypso nails RDR in the knee with his steel pipe! The referee allows it, maybe because of RDR's rant on the BBA earlier in the show. Viper locks in the Maple Leaf again, and nails him with the Venom Bomb! Viper hits him in the knee with the chair for good measure, and pins him for the three count!!! Viper has won the BBA Intercontinental Title!!! The real story of the match is the BBA referee allowing the BBA supporters to use a chair and pipe in the match while not allowing OWF supporter RDR to use a chair. Calypso and Viper celebrate Viper's Intercontinetal Championship victory. Viper attacks the leg of RDR with the chair after the match some more, and Calypso locks in the Walls of Calypso!! Calypso & Viper leave as RDR has to be helped to the back.
