The Gate Wood
In the misty half-light of the Gate Wood one can easily lose their way.  The shifting light and shadow of this grove is the home to the Muse named Keegan Todd.

Keagan is one of the race of Faery Folk known as the Phooka.
Phookas are Shapeshifters, often taking the forms of Black horses, Dark dogs, Hares, Eagles, Goats and anything else that might take their fancy or that they can imagine.  Sometimes they even wear a form that combines the elements of human and animal.  Phookas are an untrustworthy lot.  They are creatures of the Unseelie Court
(Court of the Dark Faeries).  They love to play pranks, and, more often than not, their pranks often Kill.

Keagan Todd comes from a land that is much like Ireland.  He left his home and very large, but lose knit, family for adventure.  When he met Rook he was dwelling in a forest outside of a large city.  His travels had brought him so much adventure, he had said, that he needed a rest.  He's dwelled in the city & wood for little over 30 years.  Rook thinks he's taken it upon himself to 'protect' his adopted city, much like a Hob, Trow or Brownie might protect a homestead.  Unfortunately for those that dwell in the city and are unaware of the Phooka (he remains invisible most of the time and chooses to show himself only occasionally and only to a few) his protection has nearly burned down half a city district, stopped trade with the Mountain Dwarves, and almost caused chaos during a Horse faire when he felt that the horses needed exercise & freed them all from their stalls.
Keegan means well and always has the best intentions at heart when he sets out to 'help', but the results aren't often helpful.

Keagan Loves Life! He loves music, tales, fine clothes & food, beauty, magic, mortals and intricate plans.   He is a romantic and has a poet's soul, but unfortunately he has the attention span of a flea.  Like most of his race, he is fickle, falling deeply in love with one person for months and then forgetting about them entirely when the first 'cute' goat walks their way.  He also has a bothersome little habit of 'acquiring things' that aren't really his, and 'forgetting' to give them back to their original owner.

Keagan is a skilled musician, can sing and dance and is a wonderful storyteller.  His favorite instruments are usually drums, but he could probably play anything put into his hands, unless it has strings.  Harps and fiddles are usually ripped to pieces in a matter of seconds.

Keagan Todd is pictured here in one of his favorite forms, the shape of a Hare/ man .   Keagan prefers to wear the shapes of a goat, Irish Wolfhound, Silver Fox, horse and Hare.  Whenever he is in his animal forms, the color of their fur is almost always black, a common color among Phookas. When in his 'normal' form he appears as a tall male, with pointed ears, long features and bright green eyes.
Keegan is currently 'courting' a beautiful, red-haired, female Mage named Kyree.
