| As we are in the Christmas season, i thought it would be nice to state my beliefs, so that it will be hard for you to misunderstand. 1) God Exists, He spoke to Abram, and renamed him Abraham. God Promised Abraham many descendants, through his son Issac. Issac fathered Jacob, who was later called "Israel" Jacob fathered the 12 tribes of Israel. God told Abram that since Abram asked, God would bless Ishmael. The blessing of Ishmael became the Muslim people, 600 years after Jesus. 2) God spoke to Moses, David, the Prophets, and Jesus. 3) God created everything through His Word. 4) His Word became flesh, and dwelt among us 2000 years ago. 5) His Word was named 'Jesus', before he was conceived. 6) Jesus told us the TRUTH about GOD. Jesus said " And this is life eternal, to know Thee, the ONE TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent." (John 17:3) 7) Mary Magdalene annointed Jesus. Jesus forgave her sins. 8) Jesus was rejected, mocked, scourged, and crucified by an envious and hypocritical religious authority. 9) Pilate knew of Jesus, and did not want to crucify him. 10) Pilate inscribed "The King of the Jews" in 3 languages, on Jesus' cross. 11) Jesus rose from the dead on Easter, and appeared to Mary Magdalene. 12) Jesus appeared to many of his disciples, then ascended into heaven. 13) Jesus had promised that he would send the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth. 14) The Spirit of truth came to the disciples on pentacost. 15) Those who believe, and have the Holy Spirit, may do great works. 16) God promised Abram, that Ishmael would be the father of a great nation. 17) 600 years after Jesus, God sent Gabriel to Mohammed. (Surah 2, v. 97) Jesus is described as elevated many degrees of rank over the other Apostles of God. (Surah 2: v.253) 18) Gabriel gave Mohammed an enormous primer on Monotheism, called the Qur'an. "Good News for the Believers, and a Reminder of what came before." 19) The Qur'an asserts that Jesus is the Messiah, that he had the Holy Spirit. 20) The Virgin birth of Jesus is documented in the Qur'an. (Surah 3:v 42-51) (see John 20:17 on "My God and Your God") 21) The Qur'an asserts that Jesus was taken up to GOD, where he shall be a witness against the unbelievers, in the final Judgement. 22) Jesus was born to a jewish virgin, as predicted in the book of Isaiah. 23) Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promise to David. 24) Jesus said " And this is Life Eternal, to know Thee, the One True God, and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent. (John 17:3) 25) God allowed Mary to appear to many known as Saints, advising them. 26) God is the God of Truth. if you live a false life, you will not enter the kingdom of God. 27) If you need to repent, the time is now. No one knows the day, or the hour...Not the angels, or even the Son. Watch and pray. 28) This is not a matter of conjecture. I know the truth. 29) You will know eventually. one way or the other... 30) But you must believe, and act on your belief. Otherwise, Jesus will say... "I never knew you." 31) God's wisdom is holographic! As a hologram, when it is cut into pieces, all pieces form the full image. but when the hologram is illuminated with laser light (i.e. - the Light of Christ...) then the scripture becomes Living and Active, like a 3 dimensional moving hologram. 32) When i open the scripture, i avoid choosing what to read, knowing that God is in charge of all seemingly random events. He knows what I'll read. i remind myself..."God, you know, and i do not..." 33) Through prayer to God, in Jesus name, i have cast out evil spirits on several occasions. This is not a simple task, remember, Jesus himself could perform few miracles when surrounded by unbelievers. 34) If you believe that God created our Galaxy, which is so large that it takes light 140,000 years to travel from one side to the other... and that our Galaxy has billions of stars, and that there are billions of similar galaxies... then what problem could possibly be beyond God's reach? 35) With God, all things are possible. O ye of little faith. why do you doubt? |
