Oct 1st 2003
- A new album is scheduled for release on January 12th 2003
- For full details (and tour news!), surf to Wouter's brand new Sophia site

Aug 14th 2003
- Well, I usually don't have the time to work on this Sophia-site, but for the big big news, I can of course make an exception! The 3rd album is ready. To be released 'soon'.
- And - 2,5 years later - good news concerning the 2001 tour single. A 10" will be printed and sent to those who bought the cd at one of the gigs.
- More info: check Wouter's site
- And finally a message a had lying around but forgot to post. If you want to see Robin play live, you can find a radio session with Toshack Highway (Dec 2000) on the VPRO (Dutch radio station). Robin plays the bass. Click the movie icon or the speaker icon (you see Dutch really is an easy and straightforward language!).

Jan 07th 2002
- For five years I tried to inform you on Sophia and other projects Robin was/is in involved. Due to way too much work, I'd like to refer to Wouters site for the latest news (well, maybe you already found your info there the past months). In a few weeks I'll get a computer and a cable connection to the internet, so if this project's over ... I'll be back!

Oct 26th 2001
- Sophia tours with Mogwai (what a double bill!!!) early November, dates in the gigs section.
* * *
Aug 24th 2001
- Tomorrow, Sat Aug 25th, Sophia plays at the Belgian Pukkelpopfestival.
I'll try to get loads of first class pictures on this site (mid-Sept).
Studio Brussel broadcasts teeny bits of the festival, you can follow it via the net, at their site click 'luister', then 'live' and choose your format. Sophia plays at 20h50 (thats 7.50pm London time). A session is scheduled too (earlier that day, exact time to be confirmed). Well, if you're not at the festival, I hope you can follow the shows at home!

Aug 21st 2001
- For you people going to the Pukkelpop festival, Wouter (who does the Sophia News Site) organised some kind of 'fan' meeting: Saturday (the day Sophia plays) at 6.30 pm (this is during the Stone Temple Pilots gig) at the Red Cross tent. If you don't find it, try to stagedive in the frontstage area and you'll have the fastest connection to the Red Cross.

Aug 20th 2001
- Sophia plays at Pukkelpop (pukkelpop.be) next Saturday, too bad if you don't live in this part of the world. Well, you're wrong. Studio Brussels (national radio station) will do sessions during the festival. Check their site for info and schedules (if available): studiobrussel.be.
If possible, I'll try to post a message here during the festival with some more details.
- Next to the festival session, this station may as well broadcast a part of the show later this year. We'll keep you informed.

Aug 06th 2001
- Thousands (?) of people bought the De Nachten at one of the shows Sophia did in Europe in the Spring, of course deceived by the announcement they'll receive a free tour 7" afterwards. You're wondering where your 7" is?
Problems with getting the 7" printed (artisans doing this job are the typical example of a 3rd millenium labour market bottleneck) and other circumstances that kept Robin in San Diego during Summer, delayed the whole process. Be patient ... it will be a nice Christmas present.
And blame yourself ... half of the addresses are impossible to read ... you should drink less at Sophia gigs!
- If you buy an album at their Pukkelpop gig (Aug 25th), you'll receive a exclusive tour 'greatest hits' box ... watch out for it!
