| Here we have the power supply board. It too, had a number of resistors that had the insulation chipped off, and several that were showing signs of heating. There is a small section under the regulator transistor where the heat has discolored the board. | ||||||||||

| No apparent damage from the heating. The integrity of the traces and joints were excellent. Even moderate heating over time will cause discoloration. It does not always indicate a component issue. Some board material is more prone to discoloration then others... | ||||||||||
