Chuck's
JNJ was a fine cover band in 1980 in Buffalo, NY. It was a 3 piece ensemble, Joe Tumino was the Lead Guitarist and Male Vocalist, Nan Hoffman was the female lead, and also played Guitar and recorder.(flute). Jim Palys was the percussionist, playing Conga, Bongos, Harmonica (Coast of Marsaille, Easy from Now On), Whistling (Since I fell for You), Chimes, and Zyldjian Cymbals. He also sang blues lead on "White Collar Hollar". If you ever wondered what Buffalo sounded like back in 1980, when 18 year old students could purchase beer, and frequented musical venues, this is as good as it got.
(Anywhere... Free popcorn and peanuts too...)
I knew them well, and even built a bamboo flute for Nan. Her husband Keith liked it.
