Janice Puente is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner with four years of experience in the Method. A graduate of the University of Oregon in Education, she has 19 years teaching experience as an Idaho certified teacher with continuing education credits, working at varying levels with children and adults in various settings. She has seven years experience in private practice as a complimentary health care practitioner. In addition to graduating from a four-year, internationally accredited Feldenkrais program at the Feldenkrais Resources in Berkeley, California, her training includes 80 hours in HealingTouch accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and 76 hours of Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release training, mostly with Steve Heinrich, PT, who has studied with John Upledger, Doctor of Osteopathy, and John Barnes, PT. Janice runs the Tree of Life Center for the Healing Arts , in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, where it is her goal to earn a living while contributing to the health and well-being of the community through education and healing work. Janice teaches Awareness Through Movement Classes at the Center, as well as for North Idaho College Community Education, and works with private clients, and is also a ski instuctor.
