Greg Bishop is a certified Rolfer and Rolf Movement Practitioner. He received his Masters of Music in Flute Performance at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and has been a professional musician since 1983. Greg found Rolfing in 1988 when sports injuries and overuse from professional flute playing threatened early retirement because of pain and loss of control of his fingers. Greg was able to resume playing full time due to the success of his Rolfing experience. Greg has performed with symphony orchestras and small ensembles all over the world. He has appeared on television and radio and is also a recording artist, composer, arranger, singer and song writer.

Greg received his initial training at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado, and completed the third and final unit of his Rolfing training in Ilhabela, Brazil. Greg was interested in the Brazilian format because of their emphasis on Rolf Movement as an integral part of Rolfing. "As I've learned more and more about the body and the process of integrating changes into our lives, movement and structure have become inseparable. In Brazil, it was fascinating to see how different cultural movement patterns influence structures. How we move affects the structure of our bodies and quality of our lives."
