Cathy graduated with honors from the American Institute of Clinical Massage in 1999. She opened her private massage therapy practice in October of 1999, and works with her clients as part of their wellness program, for injury rehabilitation and stress relief. Cathy also completed a 120-hour Oriental Bodywork and Acupressure Massage certification course in November 2000, and uses Acupressure as a complementary therapy in her practice. Acupressure, based on the same principles as Acupuncture is a very effective treatment for chronic conditions such as back pain, headaches, sciatica - and many others. Cathy has also completed a course in the Loren Berry method of lymph massage. Lymph massage is a wonderful therapy for enhancing the immune system and for helping the body rid itself of toxins and extra fluid. |

Cathy's office facilities allow her to offer aromatherapy baths, hydrotherapy and spa treatments such as body polishes and mud baths. Aromatherapy massage is also offered. |

Cathy has volunteered massage once a week to the residents of an assisted living home for 4 years, and loves working with seniors as well as people of all ages. She is available to make home visits to seniors, the disabled and those unable to receive massage in the office setting. Cathy has also achieved her 1st degree Reiki. |
