A learn to skate program for youngsters ages 3-4. Designed to introduce basic skating skills through interactive games and skill breakdown. This is a great opportunity to have fun with your youngster as they become aware of the ice and their skating abilities through on ice involvement. Only one parent per child please. Kinderskate - 30 min. group lesson
Participants must be 3 years old by December 31, 2009. A learn to skate program designed to introduce the basics of skating skills through games & fun!

CanSkate - 5 min. warm up, 15 min. group lesson, 30 min. supervised practice time
Skaters learn a variety of skating skills and progress through CanSkate Stages 1-5 as outlined by Skate Canada.

Junior StarSkate- 15 min. stroking, 15 min. group lessons
Skaters must have passed CanSkate Stage 5. This program begins with skaters completing CanSkate Stage 6 and introduces them to Preliminary Dances & Skills. This program is not as structured as CanSkate in that it offers independent practice time to skaters. Skaters may engage a professional coach for private or semi-private lessons at this level.

Creative Expression - 45 min. group lesson
Open to Junior Skaters who have passed at least one Preliminary Dance, Intermediate or Senior level skaters. Back to basics program focusing on edges, power, flexibility, endurance, figures and turns in isolation. Recommended as an addition to regular skating program. Can be counted as one day in association with the multi day rates. Recommended as an addition to regular skating program.

Pre Power - 50 min.
An introductory program geared for skaters 4-6 years old where the focus is on proper body position and basic balance principles. Basic skating skills of forward and backward skating, stopping, turning & agility. Full hockey equipment must be worn. This is not a learn to skate program or hockey school.
