We have several types of kit available.
KIT 1:
Consists of a dual input 3.5 inch Colour LCD screen, which can be mounted virtually anywhere around the front of the cabin, our preferred placement is top left hand corner of the windscreen. In this position it does not interfere with passenger airbags or their operation.
The screen energizes when reverse gear is selected.
A small waterproof camera is mounted on the rear of the vehicle and with a horizontal viewing angle of 140 degrees, will provide a good viewing angle to pick out obstructions.
These systems will fit most cars, 4WDs and light commercials on the market today.
A black and white system, the monitor is a 5.5 inch CRT with 2 camera inputs. This unit has a voltage range of 11-27 volts which makes it suitable for connection to 24V trucks and buses.
The camera shown is a waterproof cased B&W unit with Infra red (nightvision) capable, (nightvision camera available at extra cost).
The monitor is suitable for mounting on the dashboard of a vehicle, and the waterproof camera is small enough to be mounted virtually anywhere on the rear of the vehicle.
This identical to Kit 1 with the exception the monitor is a 5.6 inch LCD screen, this is dash mountable (where no airbags are present), and is suitable for larger vehicles.
