Graduated from the Philippine College of Optometry in 1962 and immediately employed as Sales Supervisor of the defunct Inhelder Corporation, Optical Division. He became office manager and Contact lens Consultant of the Corneal Philippines.

A pioneer faculty member and presently Assistant Dean of the Central Colleges of the Philippines, College of Optometry.

He became a Task Force Member of the Department of Education, Culture & Sports (DECS) in Optometry Curriculum and Syllabus Program. Presently a member -accreditor of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities - Commission on Accreditation (PACU-COA).<
