Freedom Never Dies

A M E R I C A

The Champion

The Author:
I am a U.S. Army Veteran 2/71 - 12/72 and full time Police Officer from 7/76 - 4/95.

I was also part of the Utah Olympic Public Safety Command during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah. I was assigned to the Park City Main Street Venue from February 4 - 24, 2002. Prayers were answered as this mission of safety and security was a success. God Bless All Of The Law nforcement Volunteers.

I am presently a full-time Corrections Officer for the State of Michigan assigned to Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater, (I am also the singer of the National Anthem for the Department of Corrections used at new recruit graduation ceremonies and special events) a part-time Police Officer for the City of Bronson Michigan and a poetic author and songwriter.

First and foremost I am a Christian who understands the foundation of our blessed country and the fact that it began with our forefathers on their knees.

God wasn't sleeping on September 11th, 2001 and He is not sleeping now. Everything Is Going To Be Okay!

As a Christian Poet I understand that in tragedy or triumph, the hearts of poets have always been stirred to try and explain present or past situations in a simple and inspiring way.

If you find Freedom Never Dies an inspiring blessing, then God has used this poet to speak to you and prayerfully encourage you with hope beyond our present circumstances.

God is using you in a might way, so keep the faith and press on.

God Bless You and All Your Loved Ones
Always Thankful
Your Christian Subordinate

GOD BLESS AMERICA

FREEDOM NEVER DIES

September eleventh two thousand one

The whole world got to see

The towering twins of New York State

Fall so helplessly

They both were struck, by suicide jets

On a mission to destroy

The spirit of America

And freedoms we enjoy

Then a third jet struck our Pentagon

While a fourth jet couldn't go

Beyond the Pennsylvania trees

'Cause of heroes, we now know

So with vengeance left to be the Lord's

One thing still applies...

Freedom just might cost your life

But freedom never dies!

The Champion

I wanted to be a champion

To quench my winning thirst,

But I could never get beyond

Second place to first.

Winning just eluded me

In every single quest,

Though working hard and practicing

To try and be the best.

Then I went above it all

To find out what succeeds

And there I found the winning edge

That every champion needs;

Faith to get the victory

And faith to know within

Champions always keep the faith.

The faithful always win!
