1. courses are set- all play will be at mission hills. pete dye day 1 (club house located right at the westin resort). arnold palmer private course day 2 and dinah shore tournment course day 3. these last courses are the private country club, quite a score, especially for what we're paying. discount rerounds at pete dye and gary player courses will be available.

2. last count we had 17 guys paid. we have 3 regulars that are confirmed as not playing this year (shepherd, gerth and colde). it's very likely that we will be only 20 guys this year. what that means is that 2 or 3 regulars will be left out in the cold unless they're able to get 1 or 2 guys off of the alternate list paid by aug 1. i would suggest if you're playing in midway this weekend and have not paid and want to be guaranteed a spot, you give dave a check for at least half of the $625.

If anyone would like to invite an alternate, we'll probably be looking for some. the criteria:

1. Must have current UGA, USGA or equivalent handicap with at least 5- 18 hole scores in the past year.
2. Must be 'sponsored' by a current participant- translation: you pay in full for yourself, make sure they pay, and you room with them.
3. Must be able to pay a deposit by Aug 1.

I know some of you have friends that have expressed interest.

There are currently 18 people paid. The next two people are confirmed a spot, after that, if you'd like to play you can contact those on the alternate list. As of now there is no one on the alternate list. Stringham, Cornaby, Kesler, Pearson, and Glaus have not paid deposits or confirmed their entry. If anyone has any interest in hassling any of the above, please do so.
