Do you like to sing and dance?
Welcome, you're in the right place!
We are continually recruiting new
members who love to sing and want to work hard! We welcome you
to come to a rehearsal and see why we're excited about
being part of an active chorus. The Citadel Chimes offers
continuing education and training in the craft of barbershop singing. The
ability to read music
is
not a prerequisite. Sheet music as well as learning audiotapes are provided
for
learning music.
Audition Process
When you decide you would like to audition for the chorus,
you will be given an audiotape and sheet music for a particular
song to learn. You will have
several weeks to practice the music. Members of The Citadel Chimes will
be available to help you throughout this process. When you decide you're
ready you will
audition
with a quartet. Members of the music team will observe, listening for
your ability to hold your part within the quartet.
Once you become a member, you will be assigned a mentor who will guide
you through all the ins and outs of being a member of The Citadel
Chimes!
