Summer is here , I have collected some great recipes that go great with warm weather!
Hot Links sloppy Joes
1/2 cup of choppped onion
2 tablespoons of butter
1 lb of hotlinks (hotdogs) cut into 3rds
1 can of condensed tomatoe rice soup
1/3 cup of water
1 1/2 tablespoon of bottled steak sauce
1 teaspoon of mustard
4 drops of tabasco sauce
Cook onions in butter till soft
Add remaining ingredence.  Let bubble slowly without covering.  , about 15 minutes or till sauce is nice and thick.  Stir once and a while when almost done. 
Smoky Baked beans
4 ounces of salt pork, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2   1 pound cans pork and beans
1/2 cup of catsup
1/4 cup brownsugar
1 teaspoon of dry musturd
Brown salt pork in skillet; drain.  In a 2 quart bean pot, combind remaining ingredence.  Top with salt pork.  Bake uncovered on grill with hood down 1 hr or longer.  For smoke flavor , toss a piece of damp hickory on coals while beans bake. 
Armenian Shish Kebab
Herb marinade 2 lbs of boneless lamb cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
Green peppers , quartered
sweet red peppers , quarted
Thick onion slices
To marinade meat add meat stir to coat.  Refridgerate over night or let stand room temp 2-3 hrs.  Turn meat occasionally.
Fill skewers with meat cubes , chunks of peppers, and onion.  Broil over hot coals to medium rare, turning frequently and brushing often with melted butter.  serves 5
Herb marinade
In deep bowl, mix 1/2 cup of salad oil, 1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of each; salt, marjoram and thyme, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1 clove of garlic minced, 1/2 cup of chopped onion, 1/4 cup of snipped parsley
Hickory Fish Bake
6 fish fillets, 3/4 to 1 inch thick
3 lemons , thinly sliced
1/2 cup of butter or margarine,melted
2 cloves of garlic
Generously sprikle salt on fish  pepper too if you like.  Arrange half the lemon slices in bottom of shallow baking dish; add fish in single layer.  Place remaining lemon slices atop.  Combine butter with garlic, pour over fish save some for basting latter.  Add hickory to slow cook coals.  Place baking dish on heavy duty foil atop grill.  Close smoker hood; cook slowly about 1 hr.  Turning once.  Baste frequently.  Serve with butter mixture and lemon slices
BBQ Bliss Chicken
1 whole chicken
1 can of chicken broth
3 tablespoons of season salt
1 table spoon of lemon juice
2 table spoons of BBQ sauce
1/3 cup of teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoon of soysauce
dash of garlic
In sauce pan, boil all ingredence except for the chicken.  Simmer 1/2 hour, let cool.  When cool marinade the chicken (whole) for 3hrs-overnight. 
When preparing BBQ, besure you use coles and put them in a ring against the sides of BBQ. No coals in the middle if you can help it.  Now when you place the chicken on the grill it will be very hot, you must keep it attended for at least the nest 15 minutes.  Keep it moving and brown all sides very well.  Remove for a few minutes it it is getting to hot and burning the outer skin.   When coals are slightly died down leave chicken cooking on all sides 5 minutes at a time.   Basting the chicken with leftover marinade is important too.   Cooking time is about 1 hour.
