ABOUT US
SPECIAL EVENTS NEWS
There are many opportunities to get involved in Crawford County HFH. We need volunteers for all our activities, not just the actual home building. We need the help of ALL of Crawford County to eliminate substandard  housing! We welcome volunteers of all ages, races, abilities, and religious affiliations.
Crawford County HFH is governed by a Board of  Directors, which conducts HFH business under a recognized set of bylaws. Officers of the Board are:  President: Ron Halter   Vice-President: Bill Shick   Treasurer: Brian Bradbury   Secretary: Debbie Summerfield. Our fiscal year starts in July of each year and each year's new Board takes office at that  time. We are always on the lookout  for prospective new Board members and from time to time must replace a Board  member who may not be able to fulfill his/her term for various reasons. If you are interested in serving on the  Board or know someone who is, contact any Board member or leave a message at  our office at 618-546-0171.
The real "work" of our affiliate is done by the  various Committees, all of which are happy to welcome new volunteers at any   time. Committees hold regular meetings to communicate, and plan their work.   These meetings are held at various places and times.   If you would like to serve on a Committee, please leave a message at our office.

We need volunteers to both serve on the committees and assist with our homebuilding, fundraising events, office work,  and even things like bringing food to our volunteer homebuilders on work days or babysitting while parents are involved in Habitat activities. No matter what your abilities, we have a place for you!  Any of our Board members or Committee Chairs will be happy to hear from you anytime - or leave a message at our office. If you feel you are too busy  to spend much time working on Habitat activities but want to assist us, we always need donations of cash, building materials, office supplies etc. to fund our work.
