There are several organizations that can issue state recognized diplomas to homeschoolers.  Parents do not have to go through one of these oversight organizations.  They can just draft a transcript on their own.  However, because the six organizations are state recognized, homeschoolers having one of their diplomas can apply for state aid when going to college.  Click here for alternative methods to obtain high school diplomas.
