With Half of the Year Over...
It's Thursday today, and I woke up at
around 11:00am this morning. I felt really groggy, but
I got up right away to work on the new website. I had been up all
night working on this thing. It was sort of like the building
of the pyramids in it's own right, but it just didn't take 20 years,
it took all night long and I got very little sleep. I just
needed to complete these sites for my business, one for web design
and one for music.
After checking email, half the day was
already over. I had gotten an email from a friend and fan just
last night, someone whom I hadn't seen since leaving the band.
It was nice to here from her, and she said she had been following along
in the recent entries of this journal, post-band!
So now, I'm committed to bringing back
all the archives to this journal soon, and get them up on this new
domain location so that they are available for reading. Hopefully,
if there are enough people out there interested in the life and times of
a former band member, about my version of the good 'ol times with
a band, then that would make it worthwhile. Sure,
there were not-so-good times, but over all I must agree that it was
basically all good.

I had to take my younger son to the optometrist
today. I just found out he's near-sighted and will need glasses!
He's only seven years old, a bit young to be wearing glasses but
he's taking after me, since I've been wearing glasses since the 1st
grade. Of course, I now wear contacts and have been for
years.

We have another band rehearsal coming up this
weekend, and I'm looking forward to it. We'll have to
make a demo tape and hopefully get it up on the Web soon in soundbytes,
then try to get the band its first gig.
I'm so anxious to get out there and play again,
it's really been a long time for me and I'm getting excited, yet
things just can't seem to move along fast enough. It just seems
like a slow and grueling process. I wish it could go faster.
But I'm confident it eventually will.

Well, the band has a name now,
and we may know in a few days where we'll be playing soon.
I'm still keeping my chin up!
If anyone is reading this and you've helped
me along with my depression and troubles, then I thank you for sticking
by me, and for the support. I really DO appreciate it.
