Readiness,  Mindfulness

The whole idea about being successful in ANYTHING is to be focused on your goal.   To have the mindset which allows one to think freely with ease,  to be stable,  and to accept things that happen in everyday life and to act and re-act to those events accordingly.

I know that there are days when the mind is not quite as alert,  or as ready.   Those are days when the mind is simply not as ready to focus on the days events.   Hopefully,  one begins to learn from any mistakes that were made and move on,  to not make the same mistakes again.

I think the key is "readiness and mindfulness",  for then you can take on the task or challenge and not have to work too hard or to become too absorbed in the consequences or the possible shortcomings,  to see what you have before you, and be able to work with what you've got.

Well,  I feel that I'm ready to get out there.  To get back into the music scene and play some music.   I see now that I had let the things that have happened get the better part of me.   It's all just life...   and we need to got out and live it,  and to not dwell on the past,  or current worries,  or the future.   That was how I was before...   just pushing forth and becoming immersed in the ZEN of things.   It's not that I should be thinking,  "I must push forward",  it's more like the attitude,  "I AM BEING..."

This is my favorite quote so far, and I think I'll leave here for a while. It's a good analogy.

"Are you anxious?

Imagine yourself as a wave with the power of the sea behind it"
