Making The Most Of It

Saturday in Santa Barbara...

The weather was nice and sunny.

I lounged around,  played piano,  played "Soul Edge" on the Sony Playstation,  saw my niece play in her competitive soccer match,  and went for a walk with my wife, oldest son and niece to the nearby lake...  we ended up feeding the ducks and the geese.

My heart was still feeling the pain and heaviness of being fired from the band...

Although I DID get out of San Diego in an attempt to get away from the reality of my predicament,  I felt that the stress,  anger and pain had not left me.

The stress of being without an income and no severance pay was especially nerve-racking!
