Well,  I'm a bit exhausted from last night's performance at The Derby in Hollywood.   It turned out to be a great night for the band.   I had been looking forward to this show for weeks.   I was very happy to finally meet a few of the "barflies" there at the show!   It was definitely a most enjoyable evening,  I was happy with my solo last night,  Toni C. sang with the band for a couple of numbers,  and the crowd was very enthusiastic.   I really,  truly had a great time...   overall,  the best show in such a long time.

I didn't do much today.   I just "vegetated" and took things slow.   I don't even remember too much of what transpired today.   I DO know that I was trying to create a nice entry for yesterday,  but I somehow couldn't  "get the wheels turning",  so I decided to put it off until a later date when I could gather my thoughts.

I discovered another old photo I took years ago (see the thumbnail pic).   I'm wondering whether this newly discovered "gem" of mine should go on my main page or not.   I thought it would be nice to post to a few mailing lists what everybody thought about the new photograph,  compared to the current photograph on my main journal page.

I was able to spend some time with my kids today.   Played computers games with them,  took them for some ice cream,  and later on I told them a bedtime story...   all made up,  of course,  just the way they like it.   And sometimes I have to coax them to give me topics and ideas on what the story should be about.
