One of the most popular Internet sites now is Friendster,
where young people can meet new friends. Two of its member are
ABS-CBN talents Carla Humphries and Nica Peralejo. They
celebrated their birthdays recently with Thammie Andrada,
John Wayne Sace, Jiro Manio and Ronaliza Cheng and
Talent Center's very amiable host, Rikka Dylim, who gave them
a special afternoon party.
If you want to make friends with Carla, her e-mail address is
[email protected] while that of Nica is [email protected].
A Jennifer Love Hewitt lookalike, Carla is part of
Star Circle Batch 11 and was introduced in the movies
as a friend of Heart Evangelista in "First Romance."
She was paired with Ketchup Eusebio in "Berks" and
is now a regular in Studio 23's "Wazzup Wazzup"
as the weather girl for Mindanao.
She was born in the U.S. and her dad is French-American,
but they lived in Paris when she was 6 to 8
so she speaks fairly fluent French. A high school graduate
from ABS Distance Learning Center, she'll be
taking up fine arts, majoring in painting at UST this June.
Turning 16 on May 20, she's now also part of the
Fresh Faces of "MTB." She admits she had a boyfriend at 14.
"But it lasted only for four months as I realized I was too young," she says.
