NEWCOMER Carla Humphries has been able to explore her skills
as
actress/host since she was launched as part of Talent Center's Star Circle batch
11.
Her mestiza looks has landed her a part in the Heart Evangelista-John Prats and
John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo twin-bill movie, "First Romance," under Star Cinema.
After several guestings on various ABS-CBN shows, Carla has
become a semi-regular on youth-oriented shows like the now-defunct "Berks,"
opposite upcoming comedian Ketchup Eusebio.
And now, she is one of the regulars on Studio 23's new show,
"Wazzup, Wazzup," and is also a favorite cover girl of glossy teen mags,
the latest of which being Pink Magazine's March issue.
Carla has engaged in theater plays at a young age.
These included productions like "Alice in Wonderland."
She hopes to embark on a singing career in the future and
be another Lea Salonga or Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Carla is an incoming freshmen at the University of Sto. Tomas
(Fine Arts major). She turns 16 tomorrow, May 20.
