HILLER UH12E3

Con este modelo comienza la versión mas común de este robusto helicóptero, equipado con un motor mas potente, el Textron Lycoming VO-540-A1A de 305 hp. El US Army reemplazó todos los OH-23D por esta versión del Hiller 12E, designándolos OH-23G.

VERSIONES

UH-12EL: Versión del UH:12E con un sistema de estabilización mejorado Ham- Standard, palas de rotor de acero inoxidable (borde de ataque?) y un peso máximo de despegue de 1400 Kg.
UH-12E3: Designación corregida por Hiller Aircraft Corp. Del UH:12E con 3 asientos.
UH-12E3T: Conversion Soloy del UH-12E3 con Turbina Allison 250 C20B de 420 hp.

The commonest version of this sturdy little helicopter was the UH-12E which had a more powerful engine, the 305hp Textron Lycoming VO-540-A1A engine. The US Army replaced nearly all the OH-23Ds by Hiller 12Es, designated OH-23G.
