This is a piece I put together for our college exhibition. I was trying to think of a way to make my table stand apart from the crowd, and out of the blue, lollies came to mind. Not just any lollies- good ol Columbines, in their bright pink and blue wrappers. I always remembered those pretty wrappers ever since I was a kid. Anyway, I thought that using the lollies would be a neat design feature, so I got this fat lil cookie jar from my nan, and filled it with columbines. I also made little "mini-folios", containing samples of my design and artwork, and stuck em in with the columbines. I made a little sign saying: "free samples. please take one!". I hope that the jar wont be emptied of sweets too soon... I'd hate to see my mini-folios wallowing sadly in the bottom of the cookie-jar!
