I think hands are just the most beautiful things. I'm in constant admiration of how clever and pretty hands can be, and how much they can say about a person's character. My own hands are quite "artistic" looking- quite thin, with long fingers and very lined palms.(I'd like to get my palms read some day!) I'm very dependant on them, and would be perfectly miserable if they ever got injured somehow. :P<--paranoid
*Ahemm*, what was I saying? Umm..... earlier this year, I was trying to think of a cool theme for my website, which I had previously left severely untended. It was somehow natural to resort to the "hand" theme... when I "create" something, I really aspire to give it a life of its own, for the viewer to sense the colours and shapes and textures as a presence rather than an image. Basically, my hands love to get in there and interact with the art/design, so I just plonked my hands on the scanner bed and started vogue-ing for all I was worth. ;)
The hand website theme fell through in favour of the Silly "Calypso Flowers" theme. (What was I thinking?!) So I may have to revamp the site again soon. I extended this hand theme across my folio, business cards and a poster placed above my desk at the college design exhibition.
