DATE:   October 4, 2006 TO:      All CalPro/Soledad Members FROM:   Christopher Graeber, Financial Secretary RE:      PROPOSED DUES ADJUSTMENT Per the IUBAT constitution and CalPro Local Union # 2345 By-Laws, I am sending you this notice of a proposed increase in your CalPro Local Union dues.  This item will be discussed and voted upon at the next meeting of the CalPro/Soledad members.  The meeting will be: Thursday, October 19, 2006 6: 00 P.M. Fire House, Soledad (Refreshment will be served) The statewide Executive Board of CalPro Local Union reviewed this subject and in light of the following reasons decided to bring this matter to the CalPro Local Union # 2345 membership for a vote. ? Rising cost in supplies and services over the past years. ? Increase in legal fees. Because of the above stated reasons the Statewide Executive Board has suggested an increase in dues of only $1.00 per month.    This increase will cost the employee working full-time only half of a cent (.005) per hour.  It is the desire of your union to continue to provide all employees with the excellent level of services you expect and deserve.   If you have any questions feel free to contact me at the union office at (800) 388-6466.
