Maria Callas changed my view of what opera was all about. No one before or after has achieved the combined vocal and dramatic effect that she has had on me. Her voice was utterly recognizable and unmistakable and she remains the epitome of the operatic soprano.
This page is my tribute to her and my favorite arias that she sang.
