Act 1 Scene 1
This is the first scene in the book. The scene started off with Flavius and Marullus walking on the streets of Rome. They started talking to two commoners about trading with them. They start talking to the commoners and then accused them of disrespecting Pompey. Flavius and Marullus then tell the commoners to leave and go home. After the commoners leave, Flavius asks Marullus to help him with something so Casear would not become a good- like Tyrant.
Act 1 Scene 2
This scene starts off with Caesar talking to Calpurnia. He tells her to stand in a place where Anthony is going to run by in his race. He told her to do this because if he touched her as he ran by she would lose her curse of sterility. Then a soothsayer out of nowhere yells from the crowd telling Caesar to be aware the ides of March is coming. Caesar couldn�t see who it was so he leaves. After he left, Cassius and Brutus were talking to eachother. Brutus seems like he has something on his mind but they are talking to eachother about how Caesar is becoming a dictator in Rome. They then hear people shouting and the sound of the trumpets playing from outside. Caesar then comes back in and then leaves again. Casca enters and Cassius and Brutus starts talking to Casca.
Act 1 Scene 3
In the last scene of this act the setting starts off at nighttime and with Circeo and Casca talking to each other on a street. There was a storm that happened and Casca was talking about something that happened that wasn�t normal. After they were done talking, Circeo left and then Cassius come into the picture. HE interrupted what Casca was saying and it said that the storm happened because it was warnings that were diving saying that Caesar threatens to get rid of the republic. Since Caesar thinks that is the reason why it happened, he decides to ask Casca to join him to oppose Caesar. Cinna also comes in and decides to join them also. Then they decide to write a note and put it in Brutus room to have him join them in their plan. They hope to have Brutus on their side and help them.
