Housing Levels

This table shows the requirements for houses to evolve to a given level. All requirements are cumulative. The desirability requirements are rising for each level, but are not shown here. The tax multiplier is given for hard difficulty level, the standard difficulty level of Caesar III. I found this table some time ago at Which Way To Rome? and made some modifications. A similar table and a good article about the entertainment values can be found at The Appian Way.

Desirability

Houses themselves spread desirability. Houses from small tent to large casa have a decreasing negative effect on their neighborhood. All insulae level houses have no desirability effect, and houses from small villa on have an increasing positive effect on their neighborhood.
