Capua
by Morgan aka Pelagius

This small and beautiful city shows city construction principles under ideal conditions. It features two stable grand insulae blocks for the plebs and two grand villas. Note the creative, deliberate use of gardens as roads.

 Central City (204 K)

Carthago

Carthaginian elephants have trampled down my first city, so this is my second try. All natives are kept outside the city walls. In order to save laborers, the city has no hippodrome.

Final ratings (March 150 BC): 6.003 population, 55 culture, 51 prosperity, 77 peace, 67 favor

 Central City (217 K)

Valentia

A large and nice city.

Final ratings (November 42 BC): 10.529 population, 70 culture, 71 prosperity, 100 peace, 92 favor

 Central City (210 K)

Londinium

The central city consists of 7x7 medium insulae housing blocks. This block scheme leads to many inefficient 1x1 houses, and as a result, lots of laborers are needed to produce enough pottery and furniture. Today, I would use larger blocks with grand insulae.

Final ratings (June 92 AD): 11.872 population, 79 culture, 76 prosperity, 100 peace, 77 favor
